Oh No!

Oh No!

I looked at my blog page today and realised a month has passed since I last wrote anything...oh no, I thought, so here I am trying to think of something to write! We have had a busy month, trying out some new designs for the start of the Christmas Fair season. The chickens and cockerels have proved to be the most popular so are going live on the website this week! We are gearing up to start the mammoth trek around the country that is November - 8 Christmas fairs in a month, including going from [..]

What's so great about our socks (Part 3)

What's so great about our socks (Part 3)

They may not be the cheapest shooting socks you can buy, but they are certainly not the most expensive, and (a little bragging here) they are definitely the best! The main reasons for holes seem to be either the dreaded moth or barbed wire, neither of which we feel we can take the blame for. We don't claim to be Savile Row tailors, but we do make all our socks and stockings to your measurements, so they fit - there is no small, medium or large here! If you wear a size 9 shoe then your sock should also be a shoe 9. A sock which is too small will rub through on the heel because it is stretched, and as we all know, there is nothing more irritating than having rolls of excess sock flappi[..]

Tasselled Hats!

Tasselled Hats!

The beanie hat is a perennial favourite, we sell loads of them, from plain to striped, personalised ones with names, phone numbers and all manner of sayings. We do them with or without pompoms and now... my lightbulb moment, with a tassel on top!! I love a tassel and thought there must be something fun we could do with them. Other than hanging them round your neck, on your boot, or possibly sticking them on your bra if you are that way inclined (or happen to work in that line of business), there[..]
